Consul

Some things cannot be seen from inside the system.

The diagnostic maps your patterns. Consul puts a trained reader in the room with that map and your specific situation. What you see changes when someone else names it.

Why Consul Exists

"

The professionals who plateau earliest are not the ones who stop working. They are the ones who stop getting honest feedback.

01

The feedback loop breaks

Past a certain level, the signal disappears. Too senior for correction. Too visible for honesty. The professionals around you are too political to give it. You stop receiving the read you need precisely when you need it most.

02

Self-reflection has a ceiling

You can journal for ten years and still not see what your diagnostic surfaced in an hour. The pattern is invisible from inside the system generating it. Insight without an external reference point is just a more elaborate story.

03

The map needs a reader

The diagnostic gives you the map. Consul puts a trained practitioner in the room with it — someone who has read hundreds of maps like yours, knows what the patterns mean in practice, and can name what you cannot see from inside.

Capability domains

The Invisible Curriculum — the map the diagnostic, Accountability, and Consul are built on

Group Sessions

A room for the conversations that never happen at work.

What it is

Each Group Session runs 90 minutes with a cohort of 8 to 12 professionals. Sessions are structured around a specific capability domain from the Invisible Curriculum — not generic career advice, but the specific capability gap that shows up most in the diagnostic data of that cohort.

You arrive with your diagnostic already complete. The facilitator uses it to set the frame. The cohort works through real situations — not hypotheticals. What comes out is the kind of clarity that takes most professionals years of bad decisions to arrive at.

What makes it different

Diagnostic-anchored cohorts

You are grouped with professionals whose diagnostic patterns are relevant to the session topic — not just by industry or seniority.

Capability-specific, not generic

Each session maps to one of seven capability domains. Judgment. Influence. Load. Direction. Not "leadership skills".

Practitioner-led, not consultant-delivered

Facilitators have operated at senior levels in Indian business contexts. They recognise the patterns because they have lived them.

Cohort as signal, not just support

Hearing how a room of high-performers navigates the same constraint is its own form of diagnostic data.

1:1 Sessions

One session. Full picture. No context-building required.

The Debrief

Not a reflection session. An interpretation.

A practitioner reads your full diagnostic output before the session. You arrive to a practitioner who already knows your patterns, your tensions, and where the data suggests your ceiling is. No onboarding. No context-building. Just the read.

What Gets Covered

Pattern interpretation, not prescription.

The session covers what your diagnostic patterns mean in practice — how they interact, where they reinforce each other, and where they work against you. You leave with a clear statement of your central tension and the two or three leverage points most likely to move it.

The Difference

Your data is the agenda.

Most coaching sessions spend the first 30 minutes establishing what the problem is. In a Consul 1:1, the diagnostic has already done that work. The entire 60 minutes goes to interpretation and what to do about it. You leave with more clarity per minute than any other format.

"I went in expecting a coaching conversation. What I got was someone reading my own patterns back to me in a way I hadn't been able to. I'd been calling it a workload problem for two years. It took 20 minutes to see it was a direction problem."

Without MTC

Context-building first

First 1–2 sessions spent establishing background you already know about yourself.

Self-report as input

Coach works from what you choose to share, filtered by your own blind spots.

Memory-dependent patterns

Pattern identification relies on recollection and self-awareness — the exact things that fail under pressure.

Insight without continuity

Clarity resets at engagement end. No baseline. No compounding across time.

With Consul

Active

Pre-read before you arrive

Practitioner reads your full diagnostic output before the session. The map is already open when you walk in.

Diagnostic as the agenda

Pattern map drives the session — not what you choose to surface, but what the data already surfaced.

Data-surfaced blind spots

Patterns that are invisible from inside your own system become visible through external interpretation.

Session outcomes you can act on

Every session ends with a written summary and named focus areas — for you to carry into your own next steps.

The Compound Effect (On the Roadmap)

1

Diagnostic as reference point

Every session starts from the same diagnostic — not a fresh conversation, no re-explaining context.

2

Behavior tracking, coming via Accountability

A future integration will connect your Accountability goals to session patterns, so change can be measured over time — not assumed.

3

90-day cycle reviews

Planned follow-up sessions will revisit what moved since your baseline — read against the original diagnostic, not memory.

4

A sharper picture over time

As these pieces roll out, each cycle is designed to make the picture more precise.

Consul sessions are limited to ensure practitioner depth. Group and 1:1 formats available.

The Next Layer

Your operating system. Continuously calibrated.

The diagnostic captures you at a moment. AI Consul captures you in motion. Every calendar block, every Slack pattern, every decision you defer — surfaced against the patterns your diagnostic already found. Career intelligence that doesn't wait for you to check in.

AI Consul

Continuous pattern monitoring

AI Consul watches your behavioral signals in real-time — not to evaluate you, but to surface when a pattern from your diagnostic is active. You get the read in the moment it matters, not 90 days later.

Judgment prompts at decision moments

When your calendar shows a high-stakes meeting with a pattern match to your Judgment diagnostic — AI Consul surfaces the relevant question before you walk in. Not a notification. A prompt calibrated to your map.

Weekly synthesis without journaling

AI Consul reads your week from the integration stack and produces a behavioral summary: where the patterns showed up, where they shifted, where they ran the decision you thought you were making consciously.

Pre-session intelligence for 1:1 Consul

Before each 1:1 session, AI Consul hands your practitioner a live behavioral brief — three months of signal, compressed into what changed since the last read. Sessions start sharper.

Integration Stack

AI Consul connects to the tools where your actual work happens. Not to monitor productivity. To read behavioral signal against your diagnostic patterns — the things your data already told us to watch for.

Where to Start

The diagnostic is the entry point. Consul is where it compounds.

You cannot get the most from a Consul session without the diagnostic. The diagnostic without Consul gives you a map but no interpreter. Together they are the system. That is why The Edge exists.
